Key Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale equipment.
• Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile transactions.
• Ensure the accurate processing of purchases and returns.
• Issue receipts, refunds, or change as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Follow store procedures for handling coupons, discounts, and loyalty programs.
• Assist with bagging merchandise and helping customers with their purchases.
• Alert management to any suspicious behavior or discrepancies in transactions.
