Role Purpose
The Cashier will be responsible for handling all guest transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. This role is based in Ras Al Khaimah and is critical in ensuring a seamless guest experience from ordering to payment.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Service & Transactions
- Handle guest payments accurately via cash, card, or digital payment systems.
- Issue receipts, process refunds, and maintain proper billing records.
- Answer guest queries related to bills and charges courteously and professionally.
- Ensure smooth coordination with the service team for split bills, group payments, or special requests.
- Operational Duties
- Maintain the cashier station, cash register, and payment devices in an organized manner.
- Perform opening and closing cash procedures accurately.
- Track daily transactions and report discrepancies to the management.
- Assist with daily financial reconciliations and end-of-day reports.
- Standards & Compliance
- Adhere to RIKAS Group’s cash handling policies and procedures.
- Maintain high levels of integrity, accuracy, and accountability.
- Uphold professional grooming, appearance, and behavior standards.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, including hygiene and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role in the hospitality or retail sector preferred.
- Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and high integrity.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Must be available to join immediately in Ras Al Khaimah.
