Cashier

Job Title: Cashier - Full-time Position in Al Shamkhah City, UAE

We are currently hiring for a full-time Cashier position in our retail store located in Al Shamkhah City, UAE. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience
2. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our point of sale system
3. Accept cash, credit, or debit card payments and issue receipts
4. Maintain an accurate cash drawer and reconcile at the end of each shift
5. Keep the checkout area clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies
6. Answer customer inquiries and assist with any concerns or issues
7. Follow company policies and procedures regarding returns and exchanges
8. Promote current sales promotions and suggest complementary products to customers

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent education
2. Previous cashier experience is preferred but not required
3. Must be able to communicate effectively in English
4. Basic math skills to handle cash transactions accurately
5. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week. The store is open seven days a week from 9am to 9pm. Schedules may vary depending on business needs.
