Job Overview:

The Case Progression Analyst is responsible for managing the issuance of pending business by liaising with providers, advisors, and administrators. This role ensures timely processing, challenges inaccuracies in expected issuance dates, and maintains a forward-looking approach to keep business flowing efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Weekly Forward-Look Process
Review all cases scheduled for issuance in the next 4 weeks.
Crosscheck expected issuance dates with providers to confirm accuracy.
Follow up with advisors if the expected issuance dates seem unrealistic or need adjusting.
Flag any cases at risk of missing issuance deadlines.
  2. Provider Engagement & Follow-Ups
Speak to providers weekly to verify the status of cases due to issue.
Identify any bottlenecks or missing information early.
Challenge providers on delays and escalate if needed.
Confirm whether expected payment dates align with issuance.
  3. Challenging Advisors & Ensuring Accuracy
Hold advisors accountable for accurate issuance dates.
If an expected date looks incorrect, question the advisor and demand justification.
Push advisors to resolve any outstanding issues delaying issuance.
Track patterns of advisors consistently misjudging issuance timelines.
  4. Maintaining an Active View
Live Tracking: Maintain an up-to-date issuance dashboard that reflects the most accurate case statuses.
Color-Code Risk Levels: Use a simple traffic-light system:
    • On track: Provider confirms issuance as expected.
    • At risk: Some minor issues need monitoring.
    • Delayed: Issuance date unlikely to be met requires immediate action.
Escalation Process: If cases are delayed beyond a set date, escalate to management.
