Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island in the UAE is recruiting a Carpentry Master – Logistics Center to lead bespoke timber fabrication and supervise a team in the resort's Logistics Center. You will read drawings, plan materials, and ensure safety and quality across fabrication and installation while coordinating with facilities, engineering and operations to meet pre-opening readiness.

A technical diploma and at least 5 years supervisory experience in carpentry within luxury hospitality environments are

Qualifications

Trade certification or apprenticeship in carpentry or cabinetry
Ability to read fabrication drawings and finish specifications
Experience coordinating workshop production and material planning
Familiarity with CMMS platforms and digital work orders

Responsibilities

Review fabrication drawings and confirm dimensions, materials and installation requirements before work begins.
Lead bespoke fabrication for cabinetry, built-ins and millwork.
Carry out accurate site measurements, prepare cutting lists and identify finishing materials.
Set out, machine, fabricate, assemble and finish timber components to required standards.
Operate and supervise woodworking machinery and hand tools safely.
Inspect completed items for dimensional accuracy, finish quality and durability.
Assign tasks to carpenters and monitor progress ensuring safe completion.
Coordinate carpentry works through CMMS, review work orders and report progress.
