Job summary

Al Ijaada Projects LLC in Dubai is seeking a hands-on Carpenter / Sauna & Steam Room Technician to join our installation team. You will carry out carpentry, woodwork and the complete sauna/steam room installation from site measurement to finishing.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of carpentry or sauna experience, willingness to travel within the UAE, and a good eye for detail. Experience with sauna heaters, steam rooms and reading drawings is preferred; English communication is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of carpentry or sauna/steam room installation experience.
• Hands-on sauna installation experience preferred.
• Experience installing steam rooms is advantageous.
• Knowledge of carpentry tools and woodworking techniques.
• Ability to read basic drawings and take precise measurements.
• Willingness to travel within the UAE.
• English communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry and woodwork for sauna rooms and interior projects.
• Install sauna rooms using timber such as Alder, Aspen, Thermo Aspen, Hemlock and other approved timber.
• Install sauna wall and ceiling cladding, benches, backrests, flooring and wooden trims.
• Accurately measure, cut and install timber according to approved drawings and site dimensions.
• Install sauna doors, glass panels, vents, lighting profiles and accessories.
• Install and assemble sauna heaters, controls and related accessories.
• Assist with the installation of steam rooms, including wall/ceiling finishes, benches, doors, vents and steam-room accessories.
• Install steam-room equipment and coordinate with electrical/plumbing teams for connections.
• Understand basic requirements for steam generators, steam outlets, drains, ventilation and control systems.
• Carry out waterproofing-related preparation and ensure surfaces are ready before final installation.
• Read and understand basic drawings and installation details.
• Take accurate site measurements before starting fabrication or installation.
• Ensure proper alignment, level, dimensions and finishing of all installed works.
• Identify and report site issues, material shortages or drawing discrepancies to the Supervisor/Project Manager.
• Carry out snagging and rectification works before project handover.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Follow all site safety procedures and company instructions.
• Work as part of a team and coordinate with supervisors, electricians, plumbers and other trades.

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter / Sauna & Steam Room Technician to join our installation team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry and woodwork for sauna rooms and other interior projects.
• Install sauna rooms using materials such as Alder, Aspen, Thermo Aspen, Hemlock and other approved timber.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in carpentry and/or sauna/steam room installation.
• Hands-on experience in sauna installation is highly preferred.
• Experience installing steam rooms is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry tools and woodworking techniques.
• Ability to measure, cut, assemble and install timber accurately.
• Ability to understand basic technical drawings and dimensions.
• Knowledge of sauna heaters, controls, lighting and ventilation is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of steam generators and steam-room installation is preferred.
• Good attention to detail and finishing quality.
• Physically fit and able to work at construction/project sites.
• Willingness to travel to different project sites within the UAE.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• English communication skills are preferred.
