Job summary

Vyas Interior Design and Technical Services LLC is seeking a skilled maintenance technician in Dubai to perform carpentry and painting tasks, handle repairs, measurements, and material planning on various projects. The role requires strong finishing quality and the ability to work independently.

You will contribute to on-site maintenance, adhere to safety standards, and collaborate with a technical team to complete projects within deadlines. UAE driving licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general carpentry work, repairs and installations including furniture and fittings.

• Assist with minor civil and handyman works when required.
• Work as part of a technical maintenance team.

Job description

Carry out general carpentry work, repairs and installations, MDF, plywood, laminate and wooden furniture works, door, cabinet, shelf, partition and related repair installation works.

Painting works including surface preparation, putty, sanding, primer and finishing coats, touch-up and repair works for walls, ceilings, doors and wooden surfaces.

Minor gypsum, silicone sealing and general maintenance works.

Assist with basic civil and handyman works when required.

Carry out site measurements and identify materials required for each job.

Use tools, equipment and materials safely and correctly.

Complete works with good finishing quality and within the required timeframe.

Maintain cleanliness and protect the client s property while working.

Minimum 2-5 years of relevant UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Strong experience in both carpentry and painting.

Must be multi-skilled and willing to handle different types of maintenance jobs.

Good knowledge of carpentry tools, painting materials, and finishing techniques.

Ability to understand site requirements and work independently.

Good attention to detail and finishing quality.

Responsible, punctual, and professional when dealing with clients.

Ability to work as part of a technical maintenance team.

UAE driving licence will be an added advantage.
