Overview

Carpenter Helper

Responsibilities

• Woodworker helpers have a variety of duties, which can include measuring products to establish where cuts will be made
• Running equipment such as drills, saws, as well as various other power devices used to cut wood
• Cutting boards and planks of timber to defined dimensions using saws such as circular saws or table saws
• Installing drywall or various other materials used in building and construction jobs
• Painting wall surfaces or other surface areas
• Installing wood molding or other wood cutting on walls or ceilings
• Setting up sheetrock or plasterboard in walls and ceilings utilizing hammers, nails, trowels, and hand tools
• Helping woodworkers with more difficult jobs such as reducing large boards to smaller items or installing intricate cabinets and staircases

Qualifications

• Experience: Woodworking works: 2 years (Preferred)
• Language: Any (Preferred)
