Job summary

Accor's Novotel & Adagio Premium Dubai Al Barsha is seeking a skilled Carpenter to build, maintain, and repair wooden structures throughout the property, delivering high craftsmanship and attention to detail. You will read blueprints, install fixtures, collaborate with other trades, and ensure safety while providing exceptional guest experiences in a demanding hospitality environment.

The role requires physical stamina, accuracy, and the ability to work as part of a team to meet project

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience as a Finished Carpenter preferred.
• Proficiency in using and maintaining all tools commonly used in carpentry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical literature and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of wood, plywood, and wallboard construction techniques.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform carpentry tasks throughout the day.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality-oriented approach to work.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to think creatively.
• Safety-conscious mindset and commitment to following all safety protocols.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair wooden structures, including cabinets, bed frames, doors, chairs, and furniture
• Assess property needs and create custom wooden products as required
• Install fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
• Frame out walls and set door frames with precision
• Participate in show and production fabrication projects as directed by management
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Ensure proper upkeep and maintenance of all company tools and equipment
• Collaborate with other trades and team members on various projects
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or guests
