Job summary

Pearl Axis Cargo Solutions LLC in Dubai seeks a skilled accounting professional to manage freight accounting, invoicing, and AR processes for air and ocean cargo services.

You will reconcile ledgers, prepare management reports on cargo revenue and expenses, and ensure accuracy of the general ledger in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Strong Excel and ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/QuickBooks) and knowledge of cargo industry terminology are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive freight or logistics accounting experience.
• Proficiency in SAP, Oracle and QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process and reconcile air and ocean freight invoices ensuring timely payment to carriers and vendors.
• Manage accounts receivable for cargo services diligently following up on outstanding payments and resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses related to cargo revenue expenses and profitability for management review.
• Maintain and update the general ledger with cargo-specific financial transactions ensuring accuracy and compliance.
