Job Description
  • Ensure all patients’ requests and concerns are recorded and tracked efficiently using the department/section’s database system.
  • Maintain proper filing systems for all confidential data.
  • Assist and participate in patient visits, manage finance, appointments, and coordinate medical care.
  • Provide patients with copies of medical reports/films upon request.
  • Coordinate prescription requests and assist patients with payment settlements.
  • Coordinate with relevant outpatient departments/sections to schedule follow-up appointments.
  • Under the supervision of the Health Center Manager, collaborate with doctors, nurses, and the registration department to ensure service delivery and proper documentation of visits.
  • Explain facility policies and procedures to patients, families, and visitors.
  • Encourage feedback from patients, families, and visitors through facility surveys.
  • Collect data on patient care concerns, needs, and problems, and report them for action and recommendations.
  • Greet and meet patients visiting the facility.
  • Make rounds as needed to ensure patient comfort and needs are met in coordination with the Patient Officer.
  • Liaise with facility staff to build and maintain good relationships.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and clinical staff, including physicians and nurses.
  • Follow up promptly on action steps requested by the Health Center Manager.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for the facility, promoting a customer-focused approach.
  • Maintain positive working relationships within and across departments.
  • Perform any other duties relevant to the role as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Medical background preferred).
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service within the healthcare industry.
