Cards Acquiring Specialist (Payments Domain)

Are you a seasoned professional with a strong background in Payments and Acquiring Systems? We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team and support one of the top banks in the UAE.

Education

• Degree or Postgraduate in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Payment Applications (Core, Switch, certificates, and HSM Keys will be an addon)
• Must have good experience in microservices architecture
• Must have good experience in handling multiple projects
• Must have experience in implementing End to End solutions (from analysis to production movement)
• Must have good experience in API integration and multilayered architectures

Technical Experience

• Should have experience in using Postman, Soap, Selenium, JUnit, DevOps tools
• Excellent understanding of solution architecture and solution designs
• Experience in Business Analysis and System Implementation
• Experience in building the HLD, FSD, and drafting the whole project architecture
• Working knowledge of industry payment-related protocols including ISO8583, ISO9564, PIN encryptions, VISA, and MasterCard protocols
• Experience in implementation of VISA and MasterCard APIs

Functional Skills

• Experience in Banking, Financial, and Fintech environments preferred
• Experience in Agile methodology and other development life cycles
• Effectively research and benchmark technology against other best-in-class technologies
• Focus on the quality of the deliverables to ensure long-term stability of the system
• Hands-on experience in change release process

Soft Skills

• Able to influence multiple teams on technical considerations, increasing their productivity and effectiveness by sharing deep knowledge and experience
• Self-motivator and self-starter, able to own and drive things without supervision and work collaboratively with teams across the organization
• Excellent soft skills and interpersonal skills to interact and present ideas to Senior and Executive management
