We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our esteemed surgical team. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnostic assessments of patients with cardiac and thoracic disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans based on patient needs and best practices.
• Perform a wide range of surgical procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair / replacement, and thoracic surgeries.
• Utilize minimally invasive surgical techniques to optimize patient recovery and reduce hospital stays.
• Collaborate effectively with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals throughout the surgical process.
• Provide thorough preoperative and postoperative care, monitoring patients for complications and ensuring their comfort.
• Engage in research and education to remain at the forefront of advancements in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a General Surgery residency followed by a Cardiothoracic Surgery fellowship.
• Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• A minimum of 5 years of practice experience in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Proven ability to perform a wide array of cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
• Strong understanding of cardiac and respiratory anatomy and relevant pathology.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient and team interactions.
• Ability to function well in high-stress environments and make timely decisions.
• Ongoing commitment to professional development and medical education.
• Valid medical license to practice in the applicable state.
