Job description

We are on the lookout for a talented Cardiac Surgeon to join our innovative and patient-focused healthcare team. This position requires a dedicated individual with a passion for improving cardiac health and expertise in advanced surgical techniques. As a Cardiac Surgeon, you will be at the forefront of providing life-saving surgery and ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients with complex heart conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnostics to develop tailored surgical plans for patients with cardiovascular diseases
  • Perform a variety of cardiac surgical procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve replacements, and other interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing teams to ensure comprehensive care before, during, and after surgeries
  • Manage all aspects of the patient\'s care, including preoperative assessments and postoperative recovery
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment options, surgical procedures, and recovery processes
  • Engage in research activities to advance the field of cardiac surgery and contribute to institutional knowledge
  • Document surgical interventions and maintain medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
Requirements
  • MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathy) degree from an accredited medical institution
  • Upon completion of a residency in General Surgery, fellows must have specialized training in Cardiac Surgery
  • Board certification in Cardiac Surgery is necessary
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in performing cardiac surgical procedures
  • Proficiency in various cardiac surgical techniques and technologies
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to make critical decisions in high-pressure situations and during emergencies
  • Current medical license to practice in the relevant state
  • A commitment to lifelong learning and staying abreast of advancements in cardiac care
