Job summary

Inter Emirates Motors, a subsidiary of Ali & Sons Holding, seeks a capable vehicle grooming specialist in Dubai. You will perform professional detailing, washing, waxing and interior cleaning to a high standard, while inspecting vehicles and reporting concerns to the supervisor.

You will keep tools organized and support daily grooming activity with the operations team. The role requires at least 1 year of relevant experience and a high school diploma; automotive qualifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in vehicle grooming or car detailing.
• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive qualification is a plus.
• Knowledge of washing, cleaning, polishing, waxing and detailing.
• Basic IT skills are preferred; English language is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional car grooming and detailing services to a high standard.
• Wash interiors/exteriors and perform waxing, polishing, and other grooming tasks.
• Inspect vehicles pre- and post-detail to ensure quality workmanship.
• Report any damages or concerns to the supervisor with clear updates.
• Maintain grooming tools, equipment, and workplace cleanliness.
• Support and service customers and coordinate with the operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional car grooming and detailing services for customers vehicles.
• Wash and clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to a high standard.
• Carry out vehicle waxing, polishing, and other grooming services.
• Clean and maintain vehicle interiors, including carpets, upholstery, dashboards, and other surfaces.
• Inspect vehicles before and after grooming to ensure all areas have been properly cleaned and detailed.
• Identify any visible concerns or damages and report them to the supervisor.
• Handle customers vehicles carefully and professionally at all times.
• Provide support and service to existing and new customers as required.
• Work closely with the operations team to manage daily grooming activities and ensure timely completion of assigned jobs.
• Follow assigned job orders and complete all tasks in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain and organize grooming tools, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure the workplace is clean, organized, and well maintained.
• Maintain company assets and use equipment responsibly.
• Follow all company SOPs, health and safety procedures, and workplace regulations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
• Provide clear updates to the supervisor regarding completed work, observations, or any issues identified.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

• Ensure high-quality workmanship across all vehicle grooming and detailing activities.
• Maintain excellent attention to detail when cleaning, polishing, and grooming vehicles.
• Complete assigned grooming jobs efficiently and within the required timeframe.
• Handle customer vehicles with care and professionalism.
• Maintain grooming equipment and work areas in clean and operational condition.
• Follow all health, safety, and company procedures.

What Were Looking For

Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in vehicle grooming, car detailing, polishing, or a similar automotive service environment.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. A technical or automotive qualification is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of vehicle washing, cleaning, polishing, waxing, and detailing procedures.
• Familiarity with interior and exterior vehicle grooming techniques.
• Ability to safely operate car grooming and polishing equipment.
• Good understanding of automotive cleaning products, tools, and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Computer Skills: Technology literate with basic computer skills preferred.

Languages: English is preferred; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
