CAR Mechanic

Job Purpose: Preferred UAE Driving License
To diagnose, repair, and maintain Toyota and other vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
To work in an automotive service garage, servicing and maintaining air-conditioning components and systems in Toyota and other vehicles.
Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul cooling units, and perform tests and inspections to ensure the vehicle's cooling system is operating correctly.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

1. The ideal candidate should possess a thorough knowledge of Toyota automobiles and their electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and air conditioning systems.
2. Experience in performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing vehicles, and the ability to diagnose and repair any mechanical problem a Toyota vehicle may have.
3. Excellent communication skills to provide clear explanations of repairs needed on the vehicle to customers.
4. Diagnose and repair automotive problems with accuracy and efficiency.
5. Inspect vehicles for necessary repairs and preventive maintenance.
6. Test drive vehicles and diagnose problems to detect necessary mechanical or electrical repairs.
7. Repair or replace worn or defective parts, such as brake and hydraulic systems, suspensions, alignment, and steering systems.
8. Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups.
9. Repair and maintain automotive emission systems.
10. Use diagnostic tools, observe, measure, test, troubleshoot, and diagnose vehicle malfunctions.
11. Discuss auto repair problems and solutions with customers.
12. Document repair status and record diagnostic test results on work orders.
13. Keep up to date with all manufacturer recalls and service bulletins.
14. Perform routine maintenance on Toyota Automotive chillers, including troubleshooting and repair of systems.
15. Follow installation instructions to ensure proper operation of the Toyota Automotive chiller.
16. Diagnose and repair the chiller system, identifying and replacing faulty parts, and ensuring effective operation.
17. Conduct inspections and tests to check and ensure proper operations of the system.
18. Manage the inventory of spare parts and ensure proper maintenance and reordering cycle.
19. Train clients and employees on the installation and usage of the Toyota Automotive chiller.
20. Keep records and perform documentation of repair orders, inventory, and completed service calls.
21. Provide technical assistance and advice to customers regarding Toyota Automotive chillers.
22. Develop and maintain service standards and ensure that all repair and preventive maintenance activities are conducted to the required standard.
23. Ensure proper safety protocols are followed in the workplace.
24. Perform other duties as and when needed.
