From pre-flight preparation through engine shutdown, the position requires disciplined command judgment, full regulatory awareness, and the ability to make timely decisions when operating under changing weather, traffic, technical, or operational conditions. Key Responsibilities

• Exercise final command authority concerning the control and operation of the aircraft.
• Maintain safety, discipline, and order on board throughout the flight operation.
• Take any measures considered necessary during an emergency to protect the aircraft, occupants, and operation.
• Accept full responsibility for the aircraft, its load, passengers, and crew once the aircraft doors are closed.
• Remain accountable for operational safety from the point the aircraft begins moving for departure until it comes to rest after landing and the engines are shut down.
• Organize flight deck duties according to Multi Crew Concept principles.
• Assign Pilot Flying and Pilot Not Flying responsibilities appropriately for each sector.
• Ensure all required flight deck checklists are completed correctly and at the appropriate phase of operation.
• Establish operational priorities with safety as the primary consideration while balancing passenger comfort, economy, and punctuality.
• Maintain current knowledge and operational qualification for intended routes, destinations, alternates, and airports.
• Review all operational documentation and relevant flight information before departure.
• Ensure comprehensive flight and weather briefings are completed prior to each mission.
• Examine meteorological information and assess weather conditions affecting departure, route, destination, and alternate airports.
• Verify compliance with applicable flight time and duty time limitations.
• Confirm that all required aircraft documents and ship 's papers are on board, current, and valid.
• Identify, document, and report operational findings, irregularities, or deviations.
• Confirm aircraft airworthiness before accepting the aircraft for flight.
• Verify that required instrumentation and equipment are serviceable and meet operational requirements.
• Ensure maintenance requirements and technical limitations have been appropriately addressed before departure.
• Review and sign applicable documentation concerning aircraft airworthiness and operational acceptance.
• Confirm mass and balance calculations are within approved aircraft limitations.
• Verify compliance with dangerous goods requirements when applicable.
• Exercise authority to refuse transportation of persons, baggage, cargo, or items where safety, regulatory, or operational considerations justify exclusion.
• Perform flight operational responsibilities in accordance with OM-A and OM-B requirements.
• Conduct required briefings for cabin crew before flight.
• Ensure every crew member receives the operational information required to perform assigned duties safely and effectively.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to flight deck and cabin crew members while retaining command responsibility.
• Encourage effective Crew Resource Management and include relevant crew input in operational decision-making.
• Promote constructive working relationships across cockpit and cabin teams.
• Provide leadership, support, and duty of care to assigned crew members.
• Contribute to the development, knowledge, and operational experience of fellow flight crew.
• Address repeated or serious breaches of operational directives by crew members through the appropriate reporting channels.
• Inform relevant management before submitting formal crew-related operational reports where required.

Ideal Profile

Candidates must hold a valid GCAA or ICAO Commercial Pilot Licence with Instrument Rating and possess a current Pilatus PC-12 Class Rating. A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate is mandatory. Applicants should have accumulated at least 1000 hours of total flight time, including a minimum of 500 hours specifically on the Pilatus PC-12. Strong knowledge of international commercial aviation regulations is required, including operational requirements associated with flying internationally over both land and water. The successful candidate should demonstrate mature command judgment, disciplined flight preparation, strong Crew Resource Management, and the ability to make safe decisions under operational pressure. Experience in executive, charter, VIP, or business aviation environments is especially relevant.
