Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

The Aircraft Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, and presentation of business aircraft while protecting sensitive surfaces, components, and finishes from damage. Key Responsibilities

• * Report to the Aircraft Cleaning Supervisor for daily task allocation, work priorities, and operational instructions.
• * Complete required pre-work inspections before starting any aircraft cleaning or detailing activity.
• * Prepare and maintain all required cleaning documentation in accordance with established procedures.
• * Conduct a detailed pre-cleaning survey of each aircraft and record its condition before work begins.
• * Capture photographic evidence of relevant aircraft areas to support condition verification and documentation.
• * Perform exterior and interior aircraft cleaning to approved VIP aviation standards.
• * Carry out aircraft detailing and polishing using methods appropriate to aircraft materials and finishes.
• * Follow applicable OEM recommendations when selecting cleaning processes, materials, chemicals, and polishing techniques.
• * Comply with company procedures designed to prevent damage to aircraft surfaces, components, windows, interiors, and finishes.
• * Inspect completed work carefully and confirm that required presentation and quality standards have been achieved.
• * Identify scratches, stains, damage, deterioration, or other discrepancies discovered during cleaning activities.
• * Report discrepancies promptly to the Aircraft Cleaning Supervisor or Maintenance Manager.
• * Coordinate with maintenance planners regarding aircraft availability, work scheduling, and cleaning requirements.
• * Support the preparation of information needed for cleaning and detailing quotations where required.
• * Work around maintenance activities without interfering with technical work or aircraft safety.
• * Assist aircraft maintenance personnel with appropriate support tasks when aircraft cleaning duties are not assigned.
• * Maintain cleaning tools, equipment, materials, and consumables in safe working condition.
• * Apply correct handling and storage practices for cleaning chemicals and detailing products.
• * Use appropriate personal protective equipment for each assigned activity.

Candidates should have completed formal certified training in aircraft cleaning and detailing and possess at least 3 years of hands-on experience performing professional aircraft cleaning and detailing.
