Job Description

  • Provides excellent guest service in both F&B functions and meeting events
  • Sets up and tears down F&B functions as well as meeting events as required
  • Helps maintain a clean and organized workplace
  • Assists the Outlet Manager with preparing for and executing functions
  • Leads a team of Servers for assigned functions
  • Coordinates, organizes and helps to give proper assistance to servers
  • Maximizes productivity and efficiency of service staff
  • Ensures that all aspects of the dining room/banquet facilities are ready
  • Assigns tasks and performs opening and closing duties
  • Actively participates in the environmental program and department specific initiatives in working towards sustainable operations
  • To be Health & Safety conscious and actively involved in maintaining a safe work environment
  • Complies with Sofitel policies, procedures and code of ethics
  • Performs any and all other tasks, which are assigned by management
  • Upholds the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all time
  • Assist with other F&B functions and tasks as required.
  • Assists with other responsibilities and duties in the absence of a team members or other tasks assigned by the manager.
  • Follows all policies and procedures ascertained by the hotel.

Qualifications

  • Walking and standing are required during the working day.
  • Good Command of English language and communication skills
  • Must be computer and system literate
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity and to fulfill cleaning tasks occasionally
