BlackStone eIT is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Capital Projects Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various capital projects within the organization, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Your role will involve collaborating with different departments, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date. You will also provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage capital project initiatives from conception through to completion.
  • Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Facilitate communication between various teams involved in the project, including engineering, finance, and operations.
  • Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and analyze project metrics to identify areas of improvement.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is organized and accessible.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the IT or software industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana) and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles is a plus.
