Job summary

ICARDA, located in the UAE, seeks a Capacity Development Officer to orchestrate learning programs across the C4RPWC initiative. The role focuses on planning, delivering, and refining ToTs, extension learning, and e-learning, aligning with regional and global research goals.

The successful candidate will coordinate training across UAE, Egypt, Tunisia, and other countries, ensure evidence-based outcomes, and maintain strong collaboration with the ICARDA Capacity Development team in Rabat.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in capacity development, training, or learning programs.
• Experience translating technical knowledge into practical learning materials.
• Strong understanding of adult learning and training evaluation.
• Willingness to travel to project countries.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Capacity Development Plan and training calendar across UAE and partner countries.
• Coordinate Training-of-Trainers, technical training, Farmer Field Schools, and e-learning.
• Develop training materials, manuals, facilitator guides, and presentations.
• Support monitoring and reporting of capacity-development activities.
• Collaborate with partners and knowledge-management teams to share best practices.
