  • Creates instructions for machine operator
  • Reviews AutoCAD design/manual sketches and makes nesting accordingly.
  • Makes calculations for programming including where materials should be cut.
  • Communicates with engineers and clients
  • Chooses cutting tools/machines
  • Analyzes job order and performs necessary calculations.
