Job summary

The Food and Beverage Group is hiring a Cake Baker / Decorator for Grind in Emirates Hills. You will produce and decorate a wide range of cakes and bakery items, including large-format and celebration cakes, while maintaining high quality and brand standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of bakery experience, strong decorating skills, and a meticulous eye for detail. This role requires morning availability, weekend shifts, and dedication to food safety and presentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a baker, cake decorator, or similar role.
• Solid bakery background with cake decorating and finishing skills.
• Experience with celebration and birthday cakes and high‑quality presentation.

Responsibilities

• Produce and decorate cakes to a high standard, including large-format and celebration cakes.
• Follow recipes, production methods, timing, and presentation standards.
• Check appearance, taste, texture, and finish of all cake products.
• Support wider bakery production when required and assist with stock control.
• Ensure hygiene, food safety, labeling, and proper storage of ingredients.
• Create custom messages and decorate styles for special orders and events.
