Job summary

AI Confidential is seeking top talent in AI Engineering and Developer Tech. This full-time hybrid role for a Senior Product Manager – AI Governance (Data Layer & Intelligent Systems) is based in Cairo with up to 40% travel to Abu Dhabi/Dubai and some work-from-home flexibility.

You will own the product roadmap, collaborate with cross-functional technical teams, and drive the data layer and intelligent features of a next-generation AI governance platform, building trusted, scalable AI systems.

Qualifications

• Deep background in data engineering, data architecture, or data science with hands-on understanding of Python, SQL, APIs, big data, and ML pipelines.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure) for data and AI services.
• Experience working with or building AI/ML models, especially generative AI and agent-based systems.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver high-impact product releases.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, design, and delivery of the data layer for an AI governance platform with emphasis on scalability, security, and compliance.
• Translate regulatory and ethical AI requirements into features: model auditability, lineage, metadata tracking.
• Oversee data quality, provenance management, and intelligent agents for policy automation and monitoring.
• Experience with model fine-tuning and training, including GPU/CPU infrastructure management.
• Guide development of agentic AI, generative tools, and ML-driven governance features (explainability, drift detection, access controls).
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, security, legal, and compliance to ensure timely delivery.
• Define and manage roadmap, prioritization, sprints, and releases; supervise cross-functional teams.
• Conduct competitive analysis and engage with clients to ensure product-market fit.
• Contribute hands-on with technical specs, design decisions, or code reviews when needed.
