About the Role

The Cabin Crew member delivers a high standard of customer service, ensures safety and security on board all Abu Dhabi Aviation fixed wing aircrafts contributing to consistent service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in preflight briefings concerning flight details, emergency procedures, crew coordination, lengths of flights, food and beverage services offered, and numbers of passengers.
  • Check to ensure that food, beverages, emergency equipment, and other supplies are aboard and are in adequate supply.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times in accordance with grooming standards.
  • Responsible for serviceability and cleanliness of the aircraft cabin, galley and lavatory.
  • Conduct pre-flight safety and security checks to ensure all safety equipment is in working order.
  • Greet passengers during embarkation and direct them to assigned seats.
  • Provide assistance to passengers while boarding and disembarking the aircraft.
  • Assist passengers in placing carry-on luggage into overhead bins or under the seat.
  • Perform pre-flight safety announcement and demonstrates safety and emergency procedures.
  • Carry out compliance checks that passengers have complied with safety regulations prior to take-off and landings.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally and courteously.
  • Serving meals, beverages, and snacks according to policies and procedures.
  • Provide special assistance to unaccompanied children, the elderly and persons with special needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow cabin crew members, pilots, and ground staff, communicate important information to colleagues, passengers during the flight.
  • Being prepared to handle various emergency situations including medical emergencies, turbulence, fire, decompression and other critical incidents.
  • Direct and assist passengers in the event of an emergency to evacuate aircraft following an emergency landing or whenever initiated by commander.
  • Prepare passengers and aircraft for landing in compliance with applicable procedures.
  • Perform in-flight announcements during various phases of flight.
  • Conduct cabin aisle walks to ensure passenger safety and comfort.
  • Reassure passengers when situations such as turbulence, smoke and rapid decompression.
  • Administer first aid to passengers and crew members in distress.
  • Periodic Inspect of aircraft cabin and lavatory during flight to ensure serviceability.
  • Operate audio and video systems.
  • Collect Customer feedback; communicates; reports to Cabin Crew Manager and provides suggestions as applicable.
  • Carry out passenger disembarkation.
  • Perform post flight safety and security checks as required.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the cabin before, during, and after each flight.
  • Report any defect, equipment malfunction and inoperative systems to Captain/ SCCM.
  • Maintain and restock supplies of food, beverages, and amenities, setting up and maintaining entertainment system.
  • Record safety related occurrences into safety management system (SMS).
  • Abides to ADA adopted policies and procedures, security and safety regulations as well as local and applicable international regulations.
  • Complies with Company Environmental, Health and Safety Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Manuals including applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • More than 1 years of work experience as a cabin crew
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 21 years of age at time of application
  • Female 160cm tall and Male 165cm
  • Weight in proportion to height
  • Medically fit to meet regulatory requirements
  • No visible tattoos while in Abu Dhabi Aviation uniform
  • Willingness to re-locate, as required, to any location
  • A collaborative individual with a vibrant personality that stands out
  • Preferably with experience in Dash-8 Q300 / Q400 aircraft type

Required Skills

  • Able to swim with aid of a floatation device
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer service, problem solving, and ability to work efficiently under pressure

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in Arabic language is beneficial
