Job Purpose
Carries out and supervises Cabin Appearance Base-level maintenance tasks on Air Arabia and third-party aircraft within the corresponding License Category, ensuring work is performed, certified, and recorded accurately and timely in accordance with Air Arabia and regulatory requirements.

Key Result Responsibilities

  1. Verifies and ensures compatibility and readiness of cabin appearance components as per standards and required quantities.
  2. Reviews task cards with the Workshop Supervisor to understand work scope, priorities, and documentation requirements.
  3. Prepares and performs scheduled cabin appearance maintenance according to task cards, ensuring documentation, parts, tools, and GSE are obtained and used correctly.
  4. Performs component tests and inspections to identify and record defects or damages following approved procedures.
  5. Rectifies defects following Aircraft Approved Data and Engineering instructions.
  6. Signs off maintenance tasks within own scope, ensuring completion to standard.
  7. Coordinates with Engineers and Technicians for task execution and handover.

Key Responsibilities Continued

  1. Ensures safety of maintenance tasks by following mandatory precautions.
  2. Uses proper GSE and protective equipment to prevent injuries.
  3. Manages human factors to ensure continuity and proper handover of critical tasks.
  4. Provides support and advice to operational teams and maintains positive customer service.
  5. Supervises and guides Technicians, ensuring they are briefed appropriately.
  6. Represents Air Arabia professionally to crews, personnel, and customers.
  7. Maintains awareness of maintenance costs and minimizes waste and unnecessary repairs.

Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)

  • Holds or has held an Aeronautical diploma or equivalent, with necessary Aircraft Maintenance License and approvals for Airbus A320 components.
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted GCAA CAR 66 Category License.
  • Demonstrates in-depth maintenance knowledge.
  • Proficient in English for technical communication.
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to obtain UAE Driver’s License.

Work Experience

External applicants

  • Extensive experience in a similar workshop role.
  • At least 1 year of certifying maintenance on Airbus A320 family aircraft.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a Base Workshop Maintenance environment.
