Job summary

Technology Innovation Institute (TII) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, invites applications for a System Software/Platform Engineer. You will develop system-level frameworks in modern C++, build containerized deployments, and contribute to scalable CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate across teams to design APIs, optimize performance, and advance deployment automation using Docker, Ansible, and orchestration tools. Strong C++ and software engineering background required.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven track record in system-level or framework development using modern C++.
• Strong background in deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments.
• Experience with software testing and validation frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving ability and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system-level frameworks and core libraries in modern C++ (C++17/20/23).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design APIs and core components.
• Build and maintain containerized environments with Docker and orchestration tools.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and scaling using Ansible or equivalent tools.
• Implement robust CI/CD pipelines ensuring automated builds and testing.
• Stay up to date with advances in software engineering practices and deployment frameworks.
