Job summary

Focus Infotech is seeking an experienced DevSecOps CI/CD Engineer to lead the design, automation, security, and optimization of enterprise software delivery pipelines. This onsite role in Abu Dhabi aims to bridge development, operations and security teams to deliver secure, scalable applications using modern DevSecOps practices.

The ideal candidate has 8-12 years in DevOps/DevSecOps and hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and security tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
8-12 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or CI/CD roles.
Strong expertise in Azure DevOps Pipelines and Jenkins administration.
Advanced knowledge of Git workflows, branching models, merge strategies, and release management.
Hands-on experience with Ansible automation and configuration management.
Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, container orchestration, and microservices environments.
Proficiency in scripting using Bash, Python, or Go.
Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise CI/CD platforms.
Strong understanding of application monitoring, observability, log aggregation, and incident management.
Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ScienceLogic, SolarWinds, and ELK Stack.
Experience integrating security testing and vulnerability management tools into development pipelines.
Knowledge of Black Duck, Fortify, CodeDx, or similar DevSecOps security platforms.
Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) methodologies.
Excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
Automate software build, testing, deployment, and release management processes.
Implement and manage Git branching, merging, tagging, and version control strategies.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration automation solutions using Ansible.
Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Integrate security controls and automated scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
Configure and manage application security tools including Black Duck, Fortify, and CodeDx.
Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Prometheus, Grafana, ScienceLogic, SolarWinds, and ELK Stack.
Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline failures, deployment issues, infrastructure incidents, and performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate with software development, QA, security, and operations teams to streamline delivery processes.
Ensure compliance with organizational security standards, governance requirements, and DevSecOps best practices.
Maintain technical documentation, standards, procedures, and configuration repositories.
Continuously optimize automation frameworks, deployment strategies, and software delivery lifecycles.
