C&P PROCUREMENT – CONFIRMED BUYER

Job Responsibilities
- Manage procurement processes, including updating procurement planning and prioritizing workload.
- Build and maintain relationships with Métier Partners and suppliers to ensure effective service.
- Inform requesters during preparation, purchase, and follow-up phases according to supply chain fundamentals.
- Collaborate closely with Métier partners and conduct regular meetings to ensure efficiency.
- Participate in supplier follow-up and evaluation with Métier Partners.
- Ensure cost optimization and reduction.
- Utilize e-sourcing tools and frame agreements signed by headquarters.
- Manage purchase orders from reception to payment and follow-up, ensuring data input in SAP.
- Contribute to reporting KPIs for purchasing activities.
- Promote activities and projects aimed at improving the supply chain process.
Purchasing Activities
- Prepare Contract Committee documents and participate in presentations of RTAs with Métier Partners.
- Plan needs in collaboration with Métier Partners and analyze purchase requisitions for specifications and budget.
- Propose bidder lists, organize tenders, and evaluate offers for best economic and contractual conditions.
- Negotiate with suppliers and issue contractual documents, including purchase orders.
- Ensure all purchase orders include necessary QA/QC provisions and follow-up until completion.
- Handle discrepancies and amendments with suppliers and ensure timely delivery.
- Update supplier database and input purchase data into SAP.
Compliance Management
- Ensure adherence to company policies, applicable laws, and regulations, emphasizing ethics and transparency.
- Maintain proper administration and filing of all purchasing documents to meet audit requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Intermediate purchasing technical competencies required.
- Certification in C&P tools and SAP is required.
- Diploma: BAC+3 or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry as a Buyer.
- Languages: English required; Arabic/French are a plus.
