C++ Lead Developer - Dubai / Remote (EU/ME timezone) - Crypto Prop Trading Firm

This growing crypto trading firm has experienced steady growth over the last 4-5 years, maintaining resilience despite the volatility in the crypto market due to their robust strategies.

Due to internal promotion, they are seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer with expertise in high-load, low-latency applications. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and optimizing trading systems, algorithms, market data, and exchange connectivity. You will also have a clear pathway to lead a team of 5 developers once familiar with the codebase.

This position is ideal for someone experienced in low-latency systems where speed and reliability are critical.

The role offers flexibility in location: either based in Dubai working alongside the CTO, founders, and traders, or remotely within the EU/Middle East timezone, with consideration for candidates willing to relocate to Dubai in the future.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum 8 years' C++ development experience; 10+ years in software development preferred
• Experience in financial markets and/or high-frequency trading systems
• Proficiency in high-load, low-latency applications
• Expertise in optimizing low-latency applications, including micros/nanos delays
• Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
• Knowledge of network protocols (Websockets, FIX, Kafka advantageous)
• Self-motivated with leadership qualities to drive technical initiatives

Desirable:

• Experience with Kernel bypass/DPDK and system-level/network performance optimizations
