The Opportunity

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Store Manager to lead our newly opening Byredo boutique in Abu Dhabi, Marina Mall. This role is key in driving store performance, engaging local luxury clientele, and building brand loyalty. You will oversee all aspects of store operations—from sales and service to team development—while leading a team of three to deliver exceptional retail excellence.

What you'll get to do

Sales and Customer Service

  • Set individual sales goals for the store team, ensuring goals reflect store business goals
  • Continuously motivate the store staff to meet assigned sales and productivity goals
  • Guarantee excellent customer experience as perbrand guidelines
  • Demonstrate sales leadership for team members by playing an active role on the floor
  • Maintains curiosity and keeps up to date with market trends and competitive activities.
  • Informs manager and corporate departments about any relevant information concerning the
  • market
  • Manage the client database and utilize information to increase sales and client contact
  • Empower the team to make decisions in the customer’s best interest that also support the Company policies

Operations

  • Monitors stocks, making sure that they are in line with the Store’s sales potential
  • Optimises stockroom management to make sure that stocks are stored as efficiently as possible in terms of sales, in line with the corporate guidelines.
  • Takes any measures to guarantee the care of all valuable products and materials in the store.
  • Manage staffing levels and work schedules to ensure appropriate coverage
  • Look after areas of risk management, physical security, store cash controls, and inventory management.
  • Deliver team member training in all areas of appropriate
  • Understand and execute cash control procedures including bank deposits, safe funds, petty cash
  • Applies all the necessary measures to ensure the safety of both teams and customers.

Product and Visual Merchandizing

  • Ensures that the Store windows are always in good order and prepares product display strictly complying with the Company directions.
  • Ensures that the Store image and product care are in line with corporate standards and that the Staff is aware of this standard.
  • Partner with operations, logistics, product teams and retail manager to ensure appropriate assortment for the store.
  • Ensure the selling floor is neat, clean, always organized and reflects the correct visual image
  • Identify and communicate product concerns in a timely manner
  • Communicate inventory needs to support the business goal
  • Has a full knowledge of merchandise in all the product’s categories.

People & Team Management

  • Support the retail manager and HR in the new hire sourcing and selection process.
  • Create an engaged team that are well-equipped to perfom in their roles
  • Act as a role model for the team, relying on his / her knowledge of corporate values and guidelines
  • Ensures professional development and training of the team
  • Defines targeted quantitative and qualitative objectives and ensures they are achieved byanalysing results, verifying monthly activities and setting up yearly assessments while providing continuous feedback.
  • Facilitates the solution of conflicts within the Store Team, partnering with HR when necessary.

Reporting

  • Produce and analyze available reports on sales, products, staff performance, CRM and stockroom by using respective corporate tools.
  • Provides the back office and local team with the store’s Weekly and Monthly Report.

  • Are passionate about and has gained a significant experience in one of the leading fragrance, beauty or luxury brands, with a minimum experience of three years in a managerial role
  • Are sales driven with a client-centric approach and highly sensitive to the client experience and loyalty.
  • Commercially driven with a strong understanding of retail KPIs.
  • Have a strong ambition to set and achieve set quantitative and qualitative objectives
  • Have a strong understanding of clientelling and relationship building
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Can lead by example with positive energy, integrity, and a hands-on approach and can create a positive work environment.
