The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Store Manager to lead our newly opening Byredo boutique in Abu Dhabi, Marina Mall. This role is key in driving store performance, engaging local luxury clientele, and building brand loyalty. You will oversee all aspects of store operations from sales and service to team development while leading a team of three to deliver exceptional retail excellence.


What you'll get to do

  4. Continuously motivate the store staff to meet assigned sales and productivity goals
  5. Guarantee excellent customer experience as per brand guidelines
  6. Demonstrate sales leadership for team members by playing an active role on the floor
  7. Maintain curiosity and keep up to date with market trends and competitive activities
  8. Inform manager and corporate departments about relevant market information
  9. Manage the client database and utilize information to increase sales and client contact
  10. Empower the team to make decisions in the customer's best interest that also support company policies


Operations

  1. Monitor stocks to ensure alignment with store sales potential
  2. Optimize stockroom management for efficiency in line with corporate guidelines
  3. Ensure the care of all valuable products and materials in the store
  4. Manage staffing levels and work schedules for proper coverage
  5. Address risk management, physical security, store cash controls, and inventory management
  6. Deliver team member training across all relevant areas
  7. Participate in bi-annual inventories
  8. Understand and execute cash control procedures including bank deposits, safe funds, petty cash
  9. Implement measures to ensure the safety of teams and customers


Product and Visual Merchandising

  1. Ensure store windows are always in good order and displays comply with company directions
  2. Maintain store image and product care standards, ensuring staff are aware of them
  3. Collaborate with operations, logistics, product teams, and retail managers to ensure appropriate assortment
  4. Keep the selling floor neat, clean, organized, and reflective of the visual image
  5. Identify and communicate product concerns promptly
  6. Communicate inventory needs to support business goals
  7. Maintain full knowledge of merchandise across all categories


People & Team Management

  1. Support retail manager and HR in hiring and sourcing new staff
  2. Create an engaged team equipped to perform effectively
  3. Act as a role model, embodying company values and guidelines
  4. Ensure professional development and ongoing training of team members
  5. Set and monitor quantitative and qualitative objectives, analyze results, and provide continuous feedback
  6. Facilitate conflict resolution within the team, partnering with HR when necessary


Reporting

  1. Produce and analyze sales, product, staff performance, CRM, and stockroom reports using corporate tools
  2. Provide weekly and monthly reports to back office and local team
