Job Purpose
Executes procurement strategies for assigned components (goods / services), to ensure that quality, cost effective products are delivered in a timely manner.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Management of Purchase Orders:

1. Review Purchase Requisitions and place Purchase Orders, ensuring compliance with regional and global processes.
2. Maintain clear communication with requestors to ensure accurate requirements and manage deadlines.
3. Manage Purchase Price Variance through negotiation, supplier agreements, and review of historical purchases.
4. Oversee open Purchase Orders through to completion and communicate status with requisitioners.
5. Resolve supplier payment issues in collaboration with the Finance Department.

Management of Suppliers:

1. Establish and manage supplier contracts in collaboration with regional and global Category Managers.
2. Conduct supplier market studies to identify strategic opportunities to reduce costs or lead times.
3. Negotiate with suppliers and collaborate with the global supply chain organization to reduce prices.
4. Take ownership of Supplier Quality and On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance, working with suppliers on improvement plans.
5. Manage the supplier qualification process in collaboration with QHSES.

Processes:

1. Understand and apply regional and global procurement processes and standards.
2. Understand the service and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) activities of a Service Base.
3. Follow procedures for QHSE and participate in improvement initiatives.
4. Propose alternative approaches where value can be added.

You are meant for this job if:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering
• 3+ years of sourcing and procurement experience in Middle East Oil and Gas Sector.
• Negotiation skills
• Must have SAP and MS Office
