Trend Awareness (Modest Fashion-Specific)
  • Deep understanding of modest fashion trends across regions (e.g., KSA, UAE, KWT differences in trends and buying patterns)
  • Ability to forecast seasonal trends (Ramadan/Eid collections, layering styles, etc.)
  • Familiarity with key modestwear designers and influencers
  • Understanding customer buying behavior in modest wear

Cultural & Religious Sensitivity
  • Awareness of Islamic dress codes and other religious/cultural modesty guidelines
  • Ability to select items that respect diverse customer preferences and sensitivities

Data Analysis & Sales Forecasting
  • Very strong Excel skills
  • Analyzing past sales data to identify bestsellers and missed opportunities
  • Working towards established targets
  • Collaborating with the planning team for forecasting and department growth
  • Understanding basic KPIs: Margin, Sell-thru, Cover, etc.

Range Planning
  • Identifying ranges and capsules based on learnings and future trends
  • Core and best-sellers grading, managing styles that are never out of stock
  • Managing Range Plan sheets
  • Managing OTB (Open-to-Buy)

E-commerce Experience
  • Understanding basic reporting metrics such as views, conversions, search keywords, etc.
