Job description

• Sourcing seasonal products with premium quality in the right time for customers and view the market trends and ensure all purchase orders are posted in system. Identify opportunities where the procurement adds true value and review the requirements. Inspecting the goods upon arrival and maintain good storage conditions and monitor the goods frequently. Monitor the storage condition as per the municipality guidelines.
• Maintain business requirements, buy right products at right price and reduce 5% or more on quoted price (better negotiation) and source premium products with size and specification that meets users.
• Sourcing seasonal products and ensure the products in the retail shelves at right time.
• Working on margins and monitoring the margins given by superiors. Preparing costing on regular basis and update retail price
• Planning well in advance for promotional activities and select the best products for promotion which can increase the sales value, quantity and footfall.
• Strictly monitoring the markets and trends, such as increase in price, shortage of products and changes in supply, which support to interrupt these trends and maintain the supply chain
• Maintain complete cleanliness within warehouse premise, ensure all HACCP and QSHE requirements are met.
• Routine physical checking of Inventories.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or High secondary Level.
• Good communication skills in English & Hindi. Knowledge in Arabic is an advantage.
• Practical experience with ERP systems and Office tools such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in F&V procurement.
• Experienced in managing internal customer and external supplier relationships.
