We're looking for a dynamic Event Operations Manager to join our team. You'll plan and execute high-profile events, ensuring flawless delivery of exhibitions, conferences, and trade shows. Thrive in an ever-changing environment and love organizing large-scale events.

Responsibilities

1. Developing an annual operational budget and delivering operational activities on time and within budget, maximizing value for money and proactively finding savings when required while minimizing impacts on overall operational delivery.
2. Supporting teams in identifying new revenue streams and developing existing ones.
3. Identifying and managing show risks across the three pillars of risk: Supplier onboarding and compliance, Health & Safety, and Security.
4. Identifying and recommending best practices for own area of work, seeking out best practices and solutions as a first step and applying and improving rather than inventing own solutions.
5. Encouraging innovation across dotted line reports and sharing best practices across the Operations group.
6. Supporting through developing briefs and designs for, but not exclusive to, stand designs, pavilions, features, signage, and sponsor opportunities.

Requirements

1. Demonstrable experience in event operations management, with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale events or exhibitions.
2. The ability to lead cross-functional teams, motivate staff, and coordinate with multiple departments.
3. Possess a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to think on your feet and manage unexpected challenges.
4. Excellent Arabic and English verbal and written communication skills.
5. Proficiency in event management software and familiarity with digital tools that enhance event operations.
