Responsibilities

  • Oversee development and implementation of procurement procedures aligned with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage the Project Procurement Execution Plan, updating it regularly.
  • Collaborate with Licensors, Clients, and maintain confidentiality agreements.
  • Maintain comprehensive Project Supplier Lists.
  • Input progress data into the Material Management System accurately.
  • Develop and maintain contacts with Suppliers' personnel ethically and professionally.
  • Stay informed on materials supply situations, including pricing and delivery trends.
  • Contribute insights for procurement strategies and decision-making.
  • Coordinate spare parts activities as per the Procurement Execution Plan.
  • Manage supply chain activities ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Prepare procurement strategies and establish project/procurement status reports.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Coordinate with engineering, project management, and procurement teams to meet standards.
  • Oversee procurement activities, including negotiations with ADNOC-approved vendors.
  • Maintain procurement schedules and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of ten years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, with five years in GCC preferred.
  • Experience with FEED / EPC Project procurement.
  • Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of project procurement processes.
  • Understanding of Oil and Gas supply chain or related supply chains.
