Job description

Job Description

  1. Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  2. Identify and anticipate guests’ needs and ensure personalized service is provided
  3. Provide Food and Beverage services
  4. Greets guests and presents them with the menu
  5. Informs guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any
  6. Suggest food and beverages to the guests
  7. Take food and beverage orders from the guest
  8. Assist with any plans or arrangements the guest intends to make during their stay
  9. Ensure that all requests from guests are made possible and are followed up on
  10. Fully understand and have knowledge of all in suite services, technology, amenities, functions and systems
  11. Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
  12. Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
  13. Follow all safety policies
  14. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  1. Passion for guest service.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills.
  3. Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.
  4. Previous experience in F&B Service is a must.
  5. Fluency in English, and at least one additional language.
  6. Must have the ability to handle a multitude of tasks and guest requests.
  7. Knowledge of Opera or Opera Cloud Property Management System an asset.
  8. Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
  9. Computer proficiency in a Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
