Activities of this job include:
- Welcoming guests and conducting personalized in-room check-in for all residents and Two Bedroom Outdoor Jacuzzi Suite booking guests
- Conducting room orientation for all arriving guests in JA Palm Tree Court, and for One bedroom and above guests in JA Beach Hotel and JA Lake View Hotel
- Arranging welcome room amenities for arrival and refilling them daily according to guest wishes, in coordination with room service
- Introducing all eligible guests to the entitlements of Premium Lounge and Signature benefits
- Providing private orientation of the resort facilities and in-house activities
- Sending pre-arrival emails to guests staying at The Residence & Bedroom Outdoor Jacuzzi Suite and liaising with them regarding inquiries
- Conducting room checks before guest arrival to ensure cleanliness, preferences, amenities, and functioning of room equipment
- Updating guest history and preferences in profiles and reviewing them before guest arrival for recognition
- Assisting with luggage delivery and collection in coordination with the Concierge
- Managing guest laundry, pressing, and dry cleaning with the laundry department
- Maintaining guest wardrobes in a neat and tidy fashion
- Polishing guest shoes as per standards
- Offering unpacking & packing luggage services
- Attending to guest requests, communicating, and following up with other departments as needed
- Reconfirming all prior bookings such as tours, restaurants, spa treatments, etc.
- Assisting in planning and organizing guest holiday itineraries
- Preparing sun loungers on terraces, beaches, or pools as per guest preferences
- Ensuring the guest room is stocked with fresh ice daily
- Delivering newspapers, mail, and messages promptly
- Hosting the Happy Hour in the Signatures Lounge and ensuring proper setup
- Coordinating transportation and luggage collection with the concierge
- Checking for upcoming guest arrivals and offering room reservations
- Recording any left-behind items in the lost and found log with Housekeeping
- Providing service around the Signatures Pool
- Preparing heartfelt departure letters
- Coordinating with the Front Desk for efficient check-out
- Tracking and raising requisitions for stationary, newspapers, and materials for the Lounge and guest rooms
- Maintaining equipment and facilities used
