Job summary

apt resources is seeking a skilled Commis 1 Butcher for a leading Dubai restaurant. The successful candidate will prepare and handle meat and fish to company standards, upholding quality and hygiene in the meat preparation area.

Key duties include inspecting deliveries, portioning products, maintaining cleanliness, collaborating with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, operating butcher machinery safely, and following safety and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience with meat & fish preparation and adherence to hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming deliveries of meat and fish for quality and quantity compliance.
• Prepare and cut meat and fish products following standard recipes and portion control guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of meat and fish preparation areas, including proper storage in refrigerators and freezers.
• Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to ensure timely preparation and availability of meat products.
• Operate and maintain butcher equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety and sanitation regulations and participate in area inspections.
