Job summary

McCoy Global Inc. is seeking a Business Process Analyst & Solution Designer with a strong background in ERP, BI, and data analytics.

The role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to map current processes, identify pain points, and translate requirements into practical system solutions. You will evaluate ERP configurations, integrate data, and drive improvements using Power BI, SQL, and automation tools.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business, MIS, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business systems analysis, ERP/business applications, data analytics, or related role.
• Experience with Epicor Kinetic or another manufacturing ERP is required.
• Strong SQL skills and relational databases.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query, and Power BI or similar BI platform.
• Ability to map processes, gather requirements, analyze problems, and translate needs into solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with teams to map processes, identify pain points and improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate and recommend practical ERP/BI solutions using existing ERP functionality or third-party tools.
• Support ERP integrations, data integrity, governance, testing and user adoption.
• Develop reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI, Excel, and SQL.

Business Process Analysis amp Solution Design

Partner with teams across the organization to understand business processes pain points and improvement opportunities Map processes identify inefficiencies and control gaps and translate business needs into clear system requirements Evaluate and recommend practical solutions using existing ERP functionality Microsoft tools third-party applications automation or custom development where appropriate Evaluate solution options based on functional fit implementation effort total cost of ownership risk and expected business value including ROI analysis for larger investments

Develop a strong understanding of the organization s ERP environment business processes data structures and integrations Identify and implement opportunities to improve ERP configuration workflows reporting and utilization Investigate native ERP functionality and available partner solutions before recommending custom development Support ERP integrations data integrity system governance testing troubleshooting and user adoption

Reporting Data amp Analytics

Develop and maintain reporting and analytical solutions using tools such as Power BI Excel Power Query and SQL Work directly with relational data to investigate business questions validate reporting troubleshoot issues and translate operational data into meaningful business information Improve manual reporting and spreadsheet processes where opportunities exist for greater efficiency reliability or control

Implementation amp Continuous Improvement

Develop workflow automation and lightweight business applications using tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps where appropriate Coordinate solution implementation testing documentation training and user adoption Build strong relationships with users and monitor implemented solutions to ensure expected business benefits are achieved

IT amp End-User Support

Serve as the primary on-site technology resource for Eastern Hemisphere users to provide hands-on IT support including troubleshooting time-sensitive hardware software and connectivity issues supporting employee onboarding offboarding and equipment deployment and coordinating with the MSP and corporate IT team as required Follow corporate IT cybersecurity access-management and technology standards and elevate security concerns promptly

Post-secondary education in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in business systems analysis, ERP/business applications, data analytics, process improvement, or a related role. Experience with Epicor Kinetic or another manufacturing ERP is required. Experience supporting business applications and end-user technology in a corporate environment. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose hardware, software, connectivity, and user issues and determine when escalation is required. Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases and data structures. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query, and experience with Power BI or a comparable business-intelligence platform. Demonstrated ability to map processes, gather requirements, analyze problems, and translate business needs into practical solutions. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders. Experience with Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, APIs, system integrations, or similar technologies is an asset. Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, energy, or similar operational environment is preferred. Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and enterprise IT controls is an asset. Familiarity with AI-enabled business tools is an asset.
