Qualifications

Candidates should hold a BEd or a Bachelor’s degree together with PGCE, PGDE, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Proven qualified experience teaching Business Studies at GCSE and A-Level is required.
Strong subject knowledge should be complemented by an understanding of how artificial intelligence and digital technologies are influencing modern organisations and commercial practice.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons aligned with GCSE and A‑Level curriculum requirements.
Develop students' understanding of finance, marketing, operations, human resources, strategy, enterprise, and business decision-making.
Use current commercial examples and case studies to make theoretical concepts relevant and practical.
Introduce appropriate examples of artificial intelligence and emerging technology within contemporary business contexts.
Prepare students thoroughly for coursework, internal assessments, and external examinations.
Track attainment carefully and identify gaps, intervention needs, and opportunities for greater challenge.
