Job summary

A leading global player in timber sales is seeking a Business & Sales Head for the Middle East region. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the timber industry, strong B2B and B2C sales skills, and be capable of building relationships with Architects and Construction Companies. This full-time role requires a Commerce Graduate along with an MBA in Marketing. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus. Competitive compensation is offered.

About the client: PSS has been mandated to hire a Business & Sales Head - Timber / Wood (Middle East) for a leading global player that designs, finances, and operates Industrial Ecosystems across Africa.

Job Purpose: The Sales Head should have sound knowledge about the timber industry as well as their competitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • The person should have a good market presence, knowledge, and should know about the distribution of Hardwood, Multiple Species, Softwood, Ply, Particleboard.
  • The required Sales Head should have strong B2B and B2C sales.
  • Should be able to sell to Architects, Furniture Companies, and Construction Companies.
  • The person should be good at Sourcing and Logistics.
  • Knowing Arabic will be an advantage.
