Business Planning & Strategy Manager (Africa Focus)

Location: Dubai, with occasional travel to West Africa

About the Role:

We are a diversified business group operating across West Africa and Dubai in segments including Electronics, FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Automotive, and most recently, QSR. We’re seeking a dynamic, grounded, and driven Business Planning & Strategy Manager who can bring structured thinking and real-world business sense to help us track performance, plan better, and grow smarter.

What You’ll Do:

• - Track Business Plans Across Verticals
  Monitor and report on performance KPIs for each business (Sales, Supply Chain, Profitability, Expansion). Highlight gaps and coordinate corrective actions with local teams.
• - Lead Strategic Review Meetings
  Set agendas, prepare decks, and drive monthly/quarterly business review meetings with leadership across regions.
• - Integrate Planning with Supply Chain Realities
  Support supply chain and commercial teams with regional planning, forecasting, and procurement insights – connecting HQ planning to ground execution.
• - Support New Business Rollouts
  Particularly in QSR, help track timelines, vendors, and budgets – ensuring things stay on plan.
• - Bridge Dubai HQ & African Operations
  Be the strategic link between management in Dubai and on-ground teams in Africa – ensuring alignment, accountability, and clear communication.

Desired Candidate Profile

FRENCH IS A MUST FOR THIS ROLE

• Have 5–10 years’ experience in business planning, supply chain, or consulting.
• - Have worked in Africa (on-ground) and understand business challenges in West African markets.
• - Have transitioned to or currently based in Dubai, familiar with structured planning/reporting.
• - Background in FMCG, Automotive, Electronics, Pharma, or QSR is ideal.
• - Big 4 (EY, PwC, etc.) consulting experience is a plus.
• - A sharp thinker, clear communicator, and team player – with a good personal vibe and sense of ownership.
