Business Performance Officer (Outsource)

Location: Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose:
The Business Support Officer is responsible for developing and using financial reports and early warning forecast systems for the Priority Banking and Wealth management. Actively provides business insights and suggestions to the management collected from accounts data, MIS reports and Market scans.

Key Accountabilities of the role:

  • Handles and looks over all Priority/WM MIS reports as received from the MIS department.
  • Prepares periodic (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and annual) reports of different Team performance aspects.
  • Conducts in-depth Analysis of business reports and provides actionable insights to maximize productivity and profitability.
  • Provides a regular business watch for the Management by implementing early warning forecast systems.
  • Keeps the Management updated on New products and Market Trends and opportunities.
  • Acts as the Focal point between the Priority Banking and different Banking Data providers.
  • Analyse, design and implement sales incentive programs.
  • Ensure all Wealth Management Leads received through ADIB E-channels are properly/Equally assigned and handled by Priority Banking and Wealth Management Team.
  • Acts as the Focal point between Priority Banking and ESCA (Securities and Commodities Authorities).
  • Ensure that ADIB-ESCA Portal is up-to-date and highlight early warning forecast systems.
  • Work on Priority Banking and Wealth management staff Mandatory CISI Examination Booking & ESCA Accreditation.
  • Coordinate with Relevant Department to ensure ESCA CPD hours are completed throughout the year.
  • Additional duties and various projects as and when needed.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Must be fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office packages.
  • Organizational talent: has strong planning and multitasking skills, can address many issues simultaneously.
  • Training & Presentation skills. Management Information skills.

Previous experience:

  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience in related Business and Financial planning and controlling and/or sales.
  • Familiarity with Bank operations and especially bank financial planning and controlling.
  • Detailed knowledge of ADIB's Retail Banking products & services.
  • Specific Knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations & risks.
  • Good awareness of competitors in the local market.
