AIIB's Investment Operations (IO) are composed of two Chief Investment Officers and one Vice Presidency. CIO2 oversees AIIB's investment operations with public sector clients in various regions and project and corporate finance clients focusing on private infrastructure and other productive sectors in all AIIB Members.
The office of the CIO2 seeks a Business Management Analyst/Associate to support the operation of the Office and report to the CIO2, with the following main responsibilities:
- Act as interface between the Office of CIO2 and departments reporting to CIO2, ensuring seamless communication and efficiency in business planning and management.
- Assist in developing and managing the CIO2 business plan, budget, and staffing plan, consolidating, coordinating, and preparing respective briefing notes and reports.
- Provide coordination support to the Office of CIO2 in developing business plan objectives, supporting regular operations, and following up on critical initiatives and program progress.
- Serve as Secretariat of CIO2 management team meetings and the focal point for various committees, assisting in preparing relevant briefing notes and presentations.
- Liaise with key departments as needed.
- Organize or coordinate region-wide activities led by the Office of CIO2.
- Conduct research and analysis, contributing to preparing briefing notes and presentations for CIO2.
- Organize internal meetings, track follow-ups, and facilitate information sharing.
- Lead team-building initiatives and foster cross-department collaboration.
- Undertake additional assignments as directed by the Office of the CIO2.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3-5 years in business management within multilateral development banks or international organizations.
- Skills & Adaptability: Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Coordination & Initiative: Excellent coordination skills and adaptability to different roles based on business needs.
- Work Ethic: Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Regional Knowledge: Familiarity with Region II is an advantage.
- Language Skills: Strong English communication skills (written and oral).
- Education: Master's degree (or equivalent) in business administration, economics, or public administration.
