Job summary

Involved Solutions is seeking a BI Lead in Dubai to own the BI function end to end. You will shape data models, dashboards and reporting standards and partner with senior stakeholders to translate requirements into business insights.

You will lead a team of BI analysts and engineers, driving self-serve analytics and ensuring trusted data for decision-makers across the organization.

We have partnered with a leading UAE business to hire a BI Lead. This is a senior role for someone who can own the business intelligence function end to end, from the data models underneath to the insight that lands in front of leadership. About the role:

• Own the BI function end to end, setting the direction for how business intelligence is built, delivered and consumed across the organisation
• Lead the design and development of scalable data models, dashboards and reporting solutions that serve teams across the business
• Define semantic layer standards, metrics definitions and data documentation that create a single source of truth
• Partner with senior stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into insight that drives real commercial decisions
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of BI analysts and engineers, raising the technical bar and delivery standards across the function
• Drive the shift towards self-serve analytics, reducing manual reporting and putting trusted data in the hands of the people who need it
• Work closely with data engineering to ensure the underlying data feeding BI is reliable, consistent and fit for purpose

About you:

• 6 to 8 years of experience in business intelligence, with a track record of leading BI delivery within complex organisations
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift
• Deep hands-on experience with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI or Tableau, including building production-grade solutions at scale
• Solid understanding of data modelling principles including dimensional modelling and experience with dbt or equivalent transformation tooling
• Proven experience leading and developing BI teams, with the ability to set standards and raise the quality bar
• Commercially minded, with the ability to connect BI work directly to business outcomes
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the credibility to operate at a senior level
