Business Intelligence Developer

Hiring for a progressive BI developer for one of our esteemed clients based in Dubai.

Open to candidate profiles from within or outside UAE and can join in less than 20 days.

Technically proficient in:

1. AWS Redshift
2. Glue
3. Power BI
4. SQL

1. Education:

1. Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
2. Microsoft Power BI certification is required or more than 5 years recent experience in Power BI reporting.

2. Experience:

1. At least 8 years of experience in data analytics and reporting, with a focus on creating interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI.
2. Proficiency in data interpretation and visualization to present complex information in an easy-to-understand manner.
3. Deep understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and business intelligence concepts.
4. Hands-on experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M language).
5. Expertise in data visualization best practices and emerging trends.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
7. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of working with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
8. A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
9. Experience working with cloud-based platforms such as AWS Redshift.
10. Familiarity with data analysis programming languages such as Python or R is an advantage.
11. Understanding of data architecture principles, including data lakes and virtualized environments, to ensure robust data governance.
