Job Summary:
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that transform data into actionable insights for decision-makers across Omorfia Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, dashboard design, and reporting with the ability to connect and integrate with various business systems such as POS platforms and HRMS. A solid programming background and familiarity with SAP database schema are strong assets.
Key Responsibilities:
BI & Reporting Development:
- Design and deploy dynamic dashboards using Power BI for Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Marketing, and Operations.
- Translate stakeholder reporting needs into structured visualizations that drive strategic decisions.
- Create and manage data models, DAX formulas, and report-level security (RLS).
Data Integration & Warehousing:
- Work with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Azure SQL to ingest and transform data from multiple sources including SAP B1, Zenoti, Phorest, and Adrenalin.
- Collaborate with the IT team to standardize data definitions and pipelines for accurate reporting.
Programming & Automation:
- Use Python for scripting, data cleansing, and automation tasks.
- Develop lightweight tools or integration components using C# where needed to support data flow or custom business use cases.
Analysis & Insights:
- Perform advanced data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies across key business metrics.
- Support cross-functional teams in interpreting data and optimizing performance KPIs.
Quality Assurance & Governance:
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across dashboards and source systems.
- Support implementation of best practices in BI governance and self-service analytics enablement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and visual storytelling.
- Solid experience working with SQL databases and data warehouse concepts.
- Experience working in cloud-based BI environments (preferably Azure).
- Programming experience in Python is required.
- Knowledge of SAP schema and POS system structures (Zenoti, Phorest) is a strong plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
