Role Overview:
Ampd Energy is expanding and looking for a Business Development Specialist to join its GCC team. The role involves promoting Ampd's Enertainer product, which offers a new way for the construction industry to power growth while reducing emissions and increasing data transparency. Responsibilities include achieving sales targets, developing client relationships, and managing the sales pipeline in the CRM system.
Ideal candidates are motivated, reliable, thorough, and excited to work with innovative products. They should be autonomous, clear communicators, and fluent in both spoken and written English and Arabic. Join our mission-driven team!
Responsibilities:
- Build Relationships: Develop long-term client relationships through active outreach, solution presentation, market research, and understanding client needs to provide optimal technical and commercial solutions.
- Sell: Collaborate with the team lead to implement sales strategies and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Build & Nurture Pipelines: Manage sales pipelines via direct and indirect channels, keeping them current and accurately reflecting the sales cycle.
- Own Sales Process: Conduct pre-sales activities, prepare quotations, work with the Application Team on technical proposals, negotiate tender and contract terms, and coordinate payment schedules.
- Partner with Distributors: Work closely with distributors to forecast demand, communicate product needs, train sales personnel, and support their pitches to end-users.
- Support Sales Operations: Assist with pre-delivery site visits, authority submissions, delivery readiness, and internal reporting to support sales activities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in sales or business development, preferably in renewable or diesel power sectors.
- Languages: Proficient in English and native Arabic, both written and spoken.
- Passion: Interest in green energy industry.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Learning Ability: Quick to grasp technical concepts and explain them simply.
- Sales Skills: Consultative selling, customer focus, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, CRM systems, and digital tools.
- Motivation: Hardworking, self-motivated, eager to learn, and open to challenges.
